Director, Camp of Lamps

David got his start promoting cycling events in 2021 as the President of the Violet Crown Sports Association. Now, as Director of Camp of Lamps, he continues his work to bring the best cycling events to racers in Texas. He has breathed new life into La Primavera Lago Vista, now Texas' largest road race attracting participants from more than 28 states and three countries for national-level competition. He has also won awards from USA Cycling for implementing innovative ideas to attract new racers through his work for the Tour de Austin Femmes event.
